On May 17 th at 8pm EST, Friends of the Dominican Republic welcomes you to join a virtual

film discussion of A Towering Task: The Story of the Peace Corps. The documentary examines

the history of the agency and profiles the impact of the Peace Corps in three countries, including

the Dominican Republic. The film will be made available for viewing online 72 hours prior to

the event for registrants.
